Well, I opened a video in it and now all of a sudden whenever I download a video from a page, it gives me the do you want to save this file box. When I click open it opens up WMP6.4, rather than WMP9. 6.4 is bare as hell. Is there anyway to make WMP9 open up rather than WMP6.4?

Open WMP9 and go to Tools > Options > File Types and select the file types you want to open in it. You also may need to deasscociate them in WMP6.4. See if that helps.

Copy wmplayer.exe to mplayer2.exe (and backup the original mplayer2.exe).
