If you want to share your hosted images there, something like this message appears if others want to access your pictures.

They all pull that stunt in the end, happened with imageshack ($39 to $950)
I'm using imgur at the moment but they will end up charging at some point

Is imgur still owned by Reddit or that dude from Reddit who opened it because he hated all the other photo hosting services? I'm hoping imgur sticks around, I use it too. But I have local copies of all my photos from the last 20 years or so backed up on all 4 of our PCs, still gotta get a copy offsite for backup but i will be DAMNED if I use a cloud service! I'd rather put 'em all on a HDD and then just put it in a box and keep it at my Mom's house and borrow it periodically for updating.

I'd wholeheartedly recommend you https://postimage.org . It is the place where I upload all the pics I share here and it is the most usable page of that style I've ever seen. You can upload several images at once, for instance, and then share all of them in the forums with a single selection using the option to share the pictures as a hotlink for forums. Plus you can choose the language of the interface. It's an amazing site in that sense. I've been using photobucket for 10 years now. Or better put, I uploaded very few images at photobucket like 10 years ago and never returned.

I always found it clumsy and confusing and I didn't like the interface much.
