    Hello,

how would you all, I am especially interested in the thoughts of people working on the current/past platforms, rate the importance of:

    - hardware
    - software (OS, compilers, debug et al)
    - support (manuals, forums, ninja teams, if nothing else, for important multiplatform games)
    - no, please do not put marketing into it as it is a completely different beast and it is used for us customers; I am interested from the viewpoint of developers, publishers etc., you can sell an consumer snake oil if you do it right

So for example you have x money/time, how much % you will put in each of these, how much would you change from the past ways of doing it? If so, why?

    Thanks in advance...

    Cheers!

Sounds like you want a business plan to launch a new console. Not sure that's what this thread is for IMHO
