How do you pronounce Roosevelt?

How are you supposed to pronounce Theodore or Franklin Roosevelt and how do you pronounce it? I say it as in lose. Just curious

I think its mostly pronounced like "rose-a-velt", though I suppose it wouldn't be too far out to rhyme with "moose-a-velt", either.

It sounds Germanic in origin.
