Some of the things are pretty funny. I'm surprised that Belgium is known for its chocolate but not for the beer. Spain will some day join the 21st century and ban bullfights. Maybe then I will consider setting foot on it again.

And about Portugal, no mention of the Barcelos rooster?

 

I was surprised they had the Czeck republic but not slovakia. Though I guess there are too many countries to list. I thought it was pretty funny though.

 

So all in all, Americans have a pretty accurate view of Europe, I'd say.

 

I note with some amusement the creator of that rather disparaging (towards Americans, I mean) image forgot entirely about the continent of Africa...

Or perhaps that was intentional? I really can't tell!

The comparison was b/c I was surprised they listed the Czeck republic instead of a larger country like Finland. Though I don't have much in the way of notions about Finland myself. When I think of Finland I think of long dark winters, a blue cross on the flag, hunting, and some snowboarders. That is about it. Feel free to enlighten us
