I use a headset but I don't like when I don't hear external noise if my son wake up for example. I will wait. I will play the best version when more consoles will be available.

Hahahaha, thanks for those, this one made me laugh out loud at the thought of a lobster that is so dense ... so heavy that it displaces that amount of sand while on land. Not to mention, how did it get to where it is without leaving a similarly depressed trail behind it. :D I'm just imagining in my head that the player character was so angry that they picked up a poor lobster and then smashed it into the sand as hard as they could. :D

I know, it's just a game, but it made me laugh. :) But yes, the attention to detail in what they've shown is really good. I wonder if it will approach RDR 2 levels of attention to detail. I doubt it, but if it can get a little bit close, it'll be worlds better than other open world games. Graphically it'll obviously be better than RDR 2. But in terms of attention to world detail and simulation of so many things that most players never notice, I don't think anyone other than RockStar will outdo what is accomplished in RDR 2.

Again, however, this isn't to take away from HFW. I'm incredibly impressed with what's been shown from the game so far. No other game so far this generation impresses as much as HFW from a visual standpoint.

Have you been to a beach with powdery sand? That's not really powdery sand. :) I lived on the island of Oahu while growing up and thanks to my father being in the USAF, I was fortunate enough to get to spend quite a bit of time at Bellows Beach which has sand so fine that it's almost like powdered sugar. They've since opened up the beach to the public, so if you ever have a chance to go to the island of Oahu in Hawai'i, I'd heartily recommend that beach as a place to visit. It is, IMO, the best beach in Hawai'i.

BTW a travel blurb for it from a tourist site (Bellows Beach | Oahu Hawaii (hawaii-guide.com).

It wouldn't depress that way for something as small and relatively light as a lobster. Hence why I found the image so amusing.

I know it's a game and all, but it contrasted directly with all the time I've spend on beaches around the world during my life. Man, I need to visit my relatives in Hawai'i and make a trip there again before I die.

    Regards,
    SB

This is impossible to beat Rockstar, attention to details is a matter of budget. Rockstar works on game longer than Guerrilla Games and with more peoples, RDR 2 was made in 8 years and the credit have more than 3300 peoples curious to see the credit for HFW maybe there will be 800 to 1000 people and they work on the game "only" 5 years. GG are good with modeling every little details but Rockstar would have add a system of trail taking into account weight of animals.

EDIT: Just behind Rockstar I think the best is Naughty Dog for attention to details but they don't do open world.

    EDIT2: In reality

If you can get a unused PS5 for 800 euros thats actually a very good price, just 200 above which isnt bad at all. Can be worth it for the better graphics and games you cant get on PS4.
I had pre-ordered the PS5 and had it at launch, just luck i guess before the craze started.

While true, you usually (me atleast) want to not be too late either. The 'hype' dies off and its unavoidable to see gameplay and experiences on youtube etc. 800 isnt all that bad seeing what they go for here (1200 euro at the least).

Scaling (or cross-gen) doesnt enable for next gen graphics, some said ;) It certainly does, FW is looking better then anything else on PS5 so far.

Looks very cgi, a bit like tibtin movie. As long as it was seen in a small window or a phone.

As the aliasing are gone with display size that small.

But on full size, it still have the real time video game look.

From the footage I've seen I would say the underwater sections do not look as good as the early preview videos. Can't say downgrade for sure due to possible TOD/area differences etc. I also haven't seen proper comparisons of that same coastal area all the preview footage focused on.

I thought Naughty Dog had excellent world detail and simulation in The Last of Us Part 2. Even better than what I saw in RDR2.
