    Congrats Rys,

It's good to see that we'll have a familiar face running the site and that the consistency of reviews will be upheld.

I too would like to see B3D keep its clean layout and not become too "busy" like Hexus is.

Oh hell, with two jobs now I hope Rys will still have time to do his regular Blog updates :(

    :)

I had a feeling this would happen. Looking forward to ATi v nvidia shoot out's soon ..go on, you know you want to !

The thing I like about Rys is he is one of the few mainstream writers who is happy sticking huge cpu's under phase cooling and overclocking the nads off them, even though he mainly concentrates on graphics. Phase Conroe XS with G80 / R600 .. yes please, even if it is just as an aside.

Good luck with the job Dave, hope both you and Rys and kin have a good time with ne're a cloud on the horizon ....

Welcome and great news about you taking over! All I ask is please don't ruin what B3D has always been, a respectable and highly technical site. Though im sure Dave would not have you taking over if that were going to be the case :)

I expect a rush of Computex updates any day now. Plus the admission he is eating a huge 24 oz porterhouse steak to celebrate getting the controls to the worlds best technical 3d site.

I look forward to all the improvements you mentioned, but I hope you manage all of that while keeping most of the B3D-feel.

    Q.F.T. ;)

Seriously, this site is definitely in good hands and will continue in it's fine tradition of being the defacto source for industry knowledge.

    Congratulations to everyone newly appointed.

Glad to see the site in good hands.

I hope the site redesign doesn't end up looking too much like hexus. B3D's articles strike a good balance between the needs of the site (i.e. page counts for ad content) and the reader. And B3D's article archive is far more user friendly (though much smaller).
