I've heard that there might be pictorial evidence floating about on how Rys convinced Wavey he was the appropriate heir. Something about a consultant Rys might have brought on to make his case. I wonder if it will surface?

I, for one, welcome our new briton overlord

    Congratulations, Rys.

I don't know a lot of folks with your knowledge of all things Computer and 3D related. Your professionalism conjugated to your creativity will lead the site into a new path, a successful one, I'm certain.

Ladies and gentlemen, uh, we've just lost the picture, but what we've seen speaks for itself. The Beyond3D website has apparently been taken over, 'conquered' if you will, by a master race of giant space geeks. It's difficult to tell from this vantage point whether they will consume the captive Earthmen or merely enslave them. One thing is for certain: there is no stopping them; the technocrats will soon be here. And I, for one, welcome our egghead overlords. I'd like to remind them as a trusted forum personality (see my rep points!), I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground usenet groups.

    .........................

Oh, and welcome aboard and good luck! :)

I have a dream today. I dream of a time when old fart B3D users tell that joke and n00bs just look blank and wonder what they are laughing about. . .

    Glad to hear it.
When no 7950X2 reviews showed I thought this place was gone for good.
    Good luck!!!

I havent yet read all the comments, so I dont know if this has been touched upon.

Please, please dont make the site like Hexus. Man, that site is terrible for adverts, adverts and more adverts.

I love the clean and non cluttered look of B3d... I hope it stays that way!

    I agree.

And good luck on your plans for greatness for Beyond3D.com, Rys. I just hope they aren't too great for the original simplicity of the site. :)
