Qualcomm's current core business for its ULP SoCs are smartphones. Any Linux variant they're developing and what not is supposedly what exactly as an operating system for their smartphone customers. The point is that Apple has higher GPU driver stability/predictability due to them having their own OS; it's not a suggestion that QCOM should develop it's own operating system to replace Android for its customers, I'm merely noting that if they wanted to have a comparable driver predictability the solution would be their own OS.What exactly do you mean. What have I claimed is a "replacement for any smartphone and Android"?
