    Is that the King's English? (no idea what you're referring to).

    Are you sure you can't pop it in the back? I read that it stays in while behind the rear seat.

    Yeah you can jam it in there... Just whack it in behind the rear seats and the roof. Sharp turns still launch it, but even on the chopper part if you go just fast enough to keep the chopper dropping balls and not firing it's "Ihackandkillyouinonehittothehead" cannon, you can make it fairly easily.

    *edit*

    And again regards to the chopper (I mention this because it's often the most difficult part);

    Yes I know about the jamming trick, problem is that this periodicly launches the gnome violently from small maneuvers as well. Amazing how far he can go too.

    I have now got the gnome achievement. I think the easiest way to handle it is leave the gnome near the start of the tracks, drive at speed to the tunnels which mark the first map change, trigger the map change which causes the chopper to shift ahead of you. If you then turn round and go back before jumping the train carriages blocking the way you find the chopper doesn't return to the first stage so you can do a nice leisurely drive with him. Get the gnome over the jump then drive up to the second jump without him. Return and again the chopper will wait ahead of you allowing you to carefully shift it to the second jump, punt it over with the gravity gun. From that second jump it is easiest to drive to near the gnome with some cover from the chopper gun and use the grav gun to punt the gnome ahead to the next bit of cover.

    You can't drive to the end then run back as, at least for me, the game ends when you get too far from Alyx.

    Anyhoo he is now launched. Last achievement to get is the Neighbourhood Watch. Which looks to be tricky to do.

    I cannot play HL2 currently as I have no internet available at home due to technical problems and so STEAM will not start. It gives me an option to start offline then flashes up a dialogue box to go to a web site ( yeah right, I'm offline mate! ) and then fails.

    I think it is ridiculous that after spending money buying a game that it will let you play it.

    Nevermind COD4 has tuned up which has no such trouble.

    Just completed it, was very good but not Earth shattering IMO. Ending was frustrating and the game felt way too short. To be honest, the point at which it finished I was under the impression I was only about half way through.

    Just got done with EP2. Overall, very average.

    The graphics are quite dated now even though they look clean.

    The audio was good at times but quite plain for the most part.

    WHERE IS THE SHOOTING!? Seriously, too many physics puzzles, crawling around and driving around. Anytime some good combat would start, it'd be over way too fast. Lots of time spent doing nothing but hearing people talk.

    Way too short. Took me maybe 5hours? from start to finish.

    The only fun part was the final battle. Otherwise, I was rather bored throughout it. HL2 was an epic. EP1 was a step down. This is 2-3 steps down from that even.

    6/10.
