I’m kinda scared of buying this now, as we have zero guarantees from Sony that they won’t push to release a ‘ps5 remaster’ which would not work with my save file. Not happy.

Well than you have to wait until they decide or at least announce a remaster and then wait for it to release. If you have not played it and got a lot of other stuff to play, then waiting probably is not that bad.
Personally, I will play legends, not sure about the Game+ stuff... Maybe to get some new charms, but depends if they really help or not.

Only downside, I need 2 more "friends" to play the survival stuff and raid with, hopefully the matchmaking works out there.

Didn't they say that all games after a certain date would have to be PS5 compatible? I believe GoT was released after the date.

I always assumed that should work as a BC title and if its a title that works in BC mode on PS5, there should be no issue with save games.
Save games, to my knowledge, is an issue if you move from the PS4 version to the PS5 version.

We don't know that. Spider-man, you can move from PS4 to PS5 and they say it's not a problem as per Insomniac.

The problem with Spider-man is using the saved game to play the REMASTERED Spider-man. That, they say can't work. There's a difference.

I do belive that Dirt5 has the same issue with PS4 to PS5, according to some tweets posted in here earlier.

Yeah but Dirt 5 isn't first party. I expect GoT and TLoU2 to work on the PS5 with regards to saves. Will it? I don't know. We'll have to wait and see.

Sony has told PlayStation 4 game developers that any new titles submitted for certification must also be compatible with PlayStation 5, beginning 13th July.

This means all PS4 games received by Sony for testing after the middle of that month are technically forwards compatible - playable on Sony's next-gen console - though it is up to each game's developer to ensure this is the case.

The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of Borderlands 3 will run at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second in single-player mode. Gearbox says that players on current-generation consoles will be able to bring all the downloadable content they’ve purchased, as well as their saves, to the next-gen edition of the game.

The problem with the very annoying and chronic lack of info from Sony is that we do not *know* that. There are no guarantees, only assumptions, and so the result in this case is that I won’t buy the game until we hear something about a potential PS5 version. It is what it is.

Ghost of Tsushima v1.1 Legends day today :)

That said, no upgrades available yet. Most likely at 11am or noon my time.
