On of my local PC stores now has the card in stoke just incase any aussies are wonder when its gonna be avialable and how much they are gonna cost

Hmmm, I wander what the price is.

R420: $759.
NV40: $1400.

Some people don't even get that much a month, I know quite a few of them.

The funny thing is most of the other well known good value stores in brisvagas are selling the 9800 XTs for $660ish.

KILER, there are many things that are much more expensive than that. Look at the Quadro's... Pretty much the same as the Geforce's (arguable), but priced at ridiculous prices...

Seems like $769-$799 is going to be the going price for the pro's.
Looks like the Extremes are gonna be around $999.
That's a lotta money for a graphics card.
I can buy these wholesale and even that doesn't make them much cheaper!

Thing is, why would anyone want to purchase them NOW.... Completely beyond me. By the time they can properly use those cards, new ones will have come out and these ones would be much much much cheaper...
