In my experience, most agencies who supply temporary staff in any field, take a disproportionately large cut.How does that compare to other local temp jobs in the same region?
I've worked in many places where we needed people for a variety of tasks form basic office/administrative work to SEM expertise and in all cases, what the individual was paid was a relatively small percentage of what we paid the agency. This also introduced disparities in terms and conditions, i.e. many temps do not get paid for not working on public holidays where full time employees do not get less pay in months with public holidays because their pay is generally averaged across the number of working days for the whole year.
