Shenmue 3 free on Epic this week for 24hrs. They’re doing a game a day again. Tomorrow’s freebie is supposedly Fuser + Justin Timberlake DLC.

It's a really good game. There's a surprising number of people that I know that felt it was their 2021 GOTY. And many of those people are people that don't play many indie games.

GOG Galaxy just let me claim "I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream". Based on the Harlan Ellison story, and he had a part in the game's development, especially when they were casting for the voice actor to play an egomaniacal AI, lol.

I played it many years ago (IIRC it played better on my Compaq Presario when instead of using Windows 95 I played in DOS Mode), and then again later on a much newer PC. I wish I still had the mouspad that was bundled with the game, it was Ace.

Ah, I just checked, you can get it at GOG, though you'll need to have an account with them, which is free. 564 MB, and no word if the German version is still broken, for reasons that are a tiny bit spoilerish, but which you now probably can imagine.
