Quite a few people with monitors featuring high Hz and HDR have this issue, and I found the solution thanks to a colleague who had the same problem with a Benq monitor. Now I don't experience blackouts anymore.
You can find the solution at Reddit. Before my only solution was switching to HDMI which is ok, but I lost Freesync, 165fps (max is 144fps in my monitor via HDMI 2.0) and 10 bit colour, all of them big deals, specially Freesync.
