FirePro workstation accelerators launched by ATI

    ATI have announced a new line of workstation-class graphics accelerators, which they're calling FirePro. ATI position FirePro underneath FireGL in terms of the relative levels of performance that the products offer, marking them as the company's entry level professional accelerators.

    Hmm... admittedly, when I first read this on TR, I thought the FirePro 5700 could just be a RV670-based part with a 128-bit bus, however 3D Professor is saying that it has 320 stream processors and is based on "R730" (RV730 presumably) which is apparently due next month.

    V5700 is RV730 based:
    - see backside sticker at 3D Professors card photos
    - 320SPs
    - UVD 2.0
