- Square Enix announced a GameBoy Advance port of the classic RPG Final Fantasy IV, the game will be released in US on December 12.

Is this also known as Final Fantasy VI or?

It was released as Final Fantasy II in the states. It was the first SNES Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy VI was released as FF III in the states.

That said, I would definitely consider picking up FFIV for GBA.
