To each their own. I almost always enjoy their shooter games, I feel they do a great job with the attention to detail and just general polish.

Oh, that and I really have a lot of fun playing them.

I though Elite Forces was fantastic too, I'm one of those kinds. ;)

Lionhead is one of the only developers that makes truly thought provoking games. I enjoy that quality about them. I also tend to enjoy Blizzard games. And EA is almost always a good bet.

I know for certain Volition is one of my favorites, for bringing FreeSpace I and II.

    Relic, Monolith, Blizzard, Bethesda, Bioware.

Don't know which to choose. Game-wise I've spent most time in Morrowind, but I have to say I absolutely LOVE the Nolf's.

Valve! There, I said it! but really, I've spent most of my gaming time on CS variants(even though they bought it from someone else).

    Blizzard: love WCIII and Dota

Bethsada: Oblivion was the most fun I've had gaming for quite some time now.

    Worst:
Dice. Ruined BF2 and left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Apogee was only the publisher. Dev house was Remedy. I am not sure if apogee did in the house anything. They were biggest shareware publisher back then.

Thx for the correction. It's been a few years since I saw that big Apogee logo. :)

FYI, 3DRealms is just a marketing name. The company is still called Apogee.

It was Atari (or possibly, Atari Games) that did Skate or Die originally, as an arcade game. Ran on similar hardware to Marble Madness and Gauntlet I believe...

He! Indy & Secret of Atlantis was an AWESOME adventure game back in the day.

Hm, I'm sure it was DMA Design that did Lemmings originally...

AKA: Blizzard Entertainment! :D Lost Vikings may be alright, but I will always remember Synaptic for Rock 'n' Roll Racing... By far the best amd coolest racing game in the 16-bit console era!

DELTA! Agh, best shmup on C64! Removed the border vertically too. Good ol Stavros, he was a king coder, wonder what he's doing these days...

Remember Dynamix? Willy Beamish was a cooool point'n'click adventure game. I loved the quirky humor in it, but the loadtimes and performance was dreadful on my old Miggy...

Well from a consistency point of view. I like Sony Online Entertainment. Simply because their games I have consistently enjoyed for years now. While they tend to rush stuff sometimes they are consistent in releasing software. I also very much like Bioware but they really need to get NWN2 out so I can decide if my faith in them is well deserved. I also like Blizzard but Blizzard releases software/games way too slow for me to be a big fan. It takes them forever to get a product out.
