Fan quit, is the card bad?

    The fact the i broke of a capacitor and soldered it back on + using a watercooler wouldn't help either with my card. :oops:
    Lets just hope our cards don't die. :lol:

    Unfortunately mine didn't be able to handle the increased speeds allowed by the vga silencer. I got the memory up to 330mhz, but after a few months my pc started locking up or the graphics just becoming extremely corrupted.(I now keep my memory speed at stock, but I had to throw an extra fan into the case just to keep it from messing up at that speed)
    I'm thinking of just selling my 9700pro on ebay now(might be able to get around $140 for it) and picking up a 6600gt for around $180.
