The minimum GPU gap (550Ti/7870) is certainly large, benchmarks could be interesting.

The rumour is it's using Nvidia GameWorks, which could explain it.

Looks like Bethesda got some marketing dollars and technical support from the boys & girls in "Green". Will this have impact on console versions as well ?

That's the same link I posted. If you read the article you'll see neither Bethesda nor Nvidia have confirmed this and the information is attributed to that website's "sources".

And here's hoping, with all that emphasis on crafting, that we'll get some awesome grenade types. Explosive. Fire. Gas etc.

Truthfully, I couldn't finish Oblivion either. Haven't tried Skyrim.

Well if you couldn't get past 10 hours of FO2, never felt inclined to play FO3 or FNV and now say you weren't compelled to finish Oblivion or even try Skyrim then I'm not sure you're going to find much in FO4 to convert you to these style of RPG. It's obviously going to have a bunch of refined controls and mechanics but if those other quite similar games didn't do it for you then this one probably won't either.

I'd rent it for a weekend and see how you get on.
