Fallout 4 [PS4, PS5, XO, XBSX|S, PC, XGP]

I played all of the DLC on the PS3 :???:

I think there was 1 DLC pack that was technically impossible to relewse on PS3 due to the limited system ram or graphics ram available on the system. That dlc was available on the other systems.

Or maybe that was some other RPG game like oblivion or morrowwind?

Ah, if a DLC wasn't available on PS3 then I doubt I would have noticed the ommission, I was a lot busier back in 2008/09!

I originally played Broken Steel, Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta on PS3. If there was another DLC expansion, that would be it. I'll need to check my Steam library as I have the Fallout 3 Utlimate Edition so it should be included there.

Fallout 3 Mystery DLC Weekend on PC ahoy!

And to me...this is not(!) funny anymore.
I agree and it's why I've never bought a season pass thus far. But Bethesda have turned out such a lot of great expansion DLC with their last three RPGs (four if you include New Vegas which they published) so I'll be getting the season pass on this very rare occasion.

@DSoup looks like it wasnt for Fallout but for Skyrim. I don't know if it ever came out but this was the last news blurb I could find about the topic in a quick search, where they said it was close. Sorry for no Fallout mystery dlc.
Dawnguard did eventually make it's way to PS3.

I'll scrub my Fallout 3 Mystery DLC Weekend plans :(

That is also one rare industry, where without knowing what the product is...they already know exactly the price!

And to me...this is not(!) funny anymore.
its weird they can say it without ppl laughing rolling on the floor actually ! We know it will be worth $40, delivered at $30 but have no idea what it will be  !

I think you're forgetting this is a business. The decision on whether to do DLC is a business decision not a creative decision. Apple know they'll be building an iPhone for release in September 2016 and the September 2017 but the specifics may not be known and they don't need to know everything, only that there will be a product for sale for consumers to spend their shiny coins on.

DLC makes sense when you've already built a massive world and where you can leverage a lot of that work for the expansions. Even if they only make three expansions, they'll bring in a fair chunk of money relative to the profit of the original game.

In terms of what the DLC will be, if they're smart they won't be too invested in the specifics of the first expansion until the main game is out and they have time to look at feedback on what is working and popular and what isn't.

"Broken Steel" was a herky jerky slideshow on my PS3, basically unplayable. Very similar to the final boss battle of "Oblivion" and the very worst of the PS3 slow down in "Sky Rim".
Some slow down perhaps but I don't recall it being that bad. Even at the end as you're escorting Liberty Prime delivering an arse kicking. F***ING EPIC!:yes::love:

That's significant compared to the anemic 5400RPM drives that came with the system.
Eurogamer found that with a few exceptions the difference was marginal and the biggest contributor was that their 7200rpm drive had 16mb of cache and the cache made a big difference. SSD also provided big boosts.

I found the Amazon dispatch email for my drive and it wasn't a 7200rpm drive it was a 5400rpm drive: 320GB 2,5" WD Scorpio WD3200BEVT SATA 5400rpm 8MB. The PS3 definitely had a performance issue if the drive lacked a lot of free space though so perhaps that was the differentiator?

So few games installed much on PS3 and I don't think my drive ever had more than 200Gb on it.

Fallout 4 S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Video Series - Perception

And here's the Perk Chart:

Fallout_4_Perk_Poster_web.jpg

Just looking at the special stats and perks in the vid, luck "affects the recharge rate of crits" and intelligence affects xp gain (I guess a % modifier?), sprint drains action points (governed by endurance). I wonder what the cooldown is for crits. Lone wanderer - 15% damage reduction and +50 carry weight without a companion, 3 ranks, L3 charisma - that seems very powerful, up to 45% damage reduction and +150 carry weight is a huge boost, companions are probably pretty powerful to compensate. Better criticals "crits do 50% more extra damage", 3 ranks. Interesting wording, the perk modifies the "crit damage bonus" stat of a weapon (e.g. weapon does 50 damage, crits do +50 and the perk modifies that bonus) instead of all the damage dealt. Crits getting significantly nerfed then all around.

From the videos shown (particuarly the Atom Boy Baby footage), there is now a crit bar that builds and you get to chose when a certain attack will be a critical, after which the crit bar resets. In an attempt to improve the shooting, and presumably make it more consisten and predictable, they've put some things more in the player's control.

At least, that's how it looks.

You're absolutely right, completly forgot about that. Poor quality vid but:

There's a crit bar and you can press x to "execute critical". 10s in, shoots someone in vats and the bar builds. So crit is built in and executed in vats, different weapons building and spending crit at different rates I'd assume.
