explorer issue. virus?

for past couple days. when im in forums. my explorer gets divided while im typing. sometimes 'print' window pops up (just happened), sometimes a search window on left, sometimes a list of the threads im posting in. im doing nothing but typing these posts. anyone experience this? how to turn it off? WTF!

Run Ad-aware or Spybot Search and Destroy. You probably have some adware on your system and don't realize it. Virii generally don't do that.

thanks, i had adaware, didn't fix it. so i downloaded spybot. it found some stuff. everything seems okay so far now. that was freaking ANNOYING. thanks again.
