Hi guys,

Just installed my new rig.

Everything fine, except that sometimes when I reboot Vista 32 the computer doesn't post, it kind of freezes. I have to reset it again for it to boot properly. Sometimes I have to power it down completely.

Could it be my power supply? I don't think so, because games run just fine.

I've seen this happen before with other motherboards, but it was a rare occurrence.

config: q9650, evga 790i ftwd, zotac gtx 280 SLI, 4gb pc1600 mushkin, pc power & cooling 750w sli

thanks.....

I dont think its your PSU. I am suspecting the mobo. Btw...nice rig :) You are doing no favors to it by running Vista 32 bit on it. You should go x64.

Thanks.

I installed Vista 32 by mistake, will install Vista 64 today. I noticed it was Vista 32 when I saw 2.5Gb of total memory. :(

Note: I'm not overclocking right now.

I just got over the phone with Newegg Canada. Their customer service is excellent. I'll be receiving a new replacement card hopefully this Wednesday.
