This was a good joke in Space Force - military guy shouting enhance picture, science guy smirking it doesn’t work like that in real life and then asking coworker to fix the contrast and lighting and some other stuff and what they needed to see became visible regardless. There’s a lot of those kind of middle ground jokes in there. Difficult for the show to get right.
