EA games for Mac announced at WWDC not native

    Or so ExtremeTech argue. Instead, they say that the games promised by EA will use TransGaming Cider technology to get the games running on OS X.

    These are not true games for Mac. There is no PowerPC support for any of the titles using Cider.

    Personally, I find it rather upsetting that Apple would make such noise at WWDC for something that none of the non-Intel user base can use.

    The simple truth is, the G5 and older Macs won't be beefy enough anyway.
