Maybe June 10th or 14th is the actual date for when the world is going to end..

Will the US version of this be censored at all?

    Why would it be censored?

It'll undoubtedly have an 'R' rating, but with jiggly exposed titties and various examples of crude sexual innuendo, not-too-subtle hints of bodily functions (and bad language), that's about what can be expected...

Demo is up on Steam if you're an early access member, I just got done playing it.

Disappointingly short demo, and it's nothing we haven't seen before...but it was interesting to finally play it. :)

What's required to become an early access member? Just pre-ordering doesn't seem to make it available. :(

Oh well. Maybe I should just wait for the full game. Not dilute my first new duking experience in fifteen years...

Buying a copy of Borderlands on steam, or buying a copy of the GOTY version of Borderlands.

I played the demo. Everything about this game screams awkward. Eventually I got fed up with it and just shut it off.

Yeah, overcooking a turkey is rarely helpful. Also, the parodic objectification of women in this installment might be a bit overdone, I dunno. It was present in the original ("original"... technically DN3D was the third installment, but let's ignore that for now :D), but it wasn't ever as in your face as it appears here (giving money to poledancers so they'd shake their mammaries at you was probably the most obvious instance.)

I dunno, maybe they just cut together a lot of it for the promo videos, I sure hope it isn't as prevalent all the time because that would get friggin' tedious. It's not like Arnold ever said "I'll be back!" ALL the time in each of his movies, you gotta have restraint too when it comes to a character trademark or trait.

I'm not expecting much in the graphics department for this one, just hoping it will be a fun game to play.

  14. I haven't played the demo yet. Can't wait to get home to try it, I'm both a demo code owner because of Borderlands and I did the pre-order on Steam too.

Some people are complaining about the demo having a FOV too tight and the mouse movement being smoothed.
Basicaly, PC people are complaining about it being too console-ish, which annoys me a bit.
Let's hope the FOV and mouse smoothing are configurable when the game is launched.

I know this is completely irrelevant from playing point of view, but considering all the trouble of using girls and sex in the game, I'm really dissappointed in the scene in the beginning where Duke gets blown by 2 girls - the sound suggests that Duke comes in (one girls) mouth, yet their position clearly shows that either neither one is nowehere near his.. err.. gear, or Duke has 2 of them sticking from his thighs.

I have Borderlands on Steam how do I get the demo?

Edit Oh yeah I figured it out downloading now. In case anyone was wondering you have to right-click Borderlands and click "View game CD key", then go here to register it and they email you the demo code.

The FOV didn't mind me, and you can adjust the aim assist(Well, turn it off and on), mouse sensitivity and mouse precision, whatever the hell the last one means.

You can disable FOV too, but you disable a couple of other post processes too. Haven't tried it yet, then again I didn't play with any poop yet either. :???:
