I'm not sure I want to see my Hell Knights with a D cup.... Well maybe not be seen seeing them anyway :D
The old "more than a handfull is a waste" argument doesn't hold any water around here either ...

I'm not upgarding for awhile regardless. I have a 9800se that works as a 9800pro with a barton 2500+. Maybe a 5.1 sound system wouldn't hurt too much.

Actually dig, my good friend just bough a brand new system (built himself, all from newegg) which includes a nice athlon64 3200 and a 6800GT . I guess he has all the ingredients necessary for a orgasmic euphoria of cinematic doom 3 action.

    I envy him really.

It would be great if he provided feedback on his experience with his setup & Doom3 so we can all benefit from it.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how well A64 works with Doom3.

That'd be interesting martrox... do you think you could take the Audigy 2 out of the nforce so you can hear the soundstorm at work or is that a non mcp-t mobo? Your comparitve system is basically my main system :) I'd guess Im going to be seeing cpu limitations 1st from what I here.

It's a non soundstorm MB, sorry. Personally, I've found the only way soundstorm will sound decient is IF you output digitally to a reciever, the codec's on most boards really suck. I do have a couple of systems - no rally gaming - that I do use soundstorm outputted to a reciever - works great, BTW.
