Boy is Felicia Day a geeks dream. Grew up playing more games than most geeks combined. BS in Math and Violin. Writer, singer, actress. Not bad looking to boot. She's like a geekier Tina Fey.

Depends if you want one time sex, or someone you can stand to be around. I find Tina Fey far more attractive than Jolie for example.. Sure, Jolie is hot, prostitute hot, porno movie hot, but that's it. I have no interest in her other than that.

Most hollywood bimbos turn me off the minute they open their mouths. Frankly, I found Jolie hotter in "Hackers" before her megastardom, back before I became aware of her more disturbing personality quirks and the whole Billy Bob Thorton 'we carry each others blood' stuff.

The thing is, there's gazillions of hot women who will turn you on by looks alone. I'm sure your porn collection has a vast and diverse variety of them. But only a tiny minority of them are "interesting"

The current hoopla over Megan Fox leaves me puzzled. She seems, and even portrays, trailer trash. I don't find her all that hot, and I thought the other chicks in transformers (1 and 2) were more appealing. When Catherine Bach portrayed Daisy Duke, she didn't seem like hick trash, she seemed high class. But Jessica Simpson and Megan Fox really do seem like trash.
 
Well sex is just as important as that "being around", for the non-sexual being around I have enough friends. You may wonder, but there are also very beautiful girls who are great as persons too. Not many, but there are some. And that's the ones I like :)

I also don't get it with Megan Fox, there are many way hotter girls in the business. But I guess it's what the masses like (or at least the guys working in the media, so it makes that impression).

The one's who will let you spend the most of your "non-sexual being" time around your other friends cuts it down to rather unrealistic numbers ... at least in the long term.
 
That's an interesting specialization xxx. So basically, friends are for spending time with, having fun, social and emotional support, and hot women are just for sex? At that point, why not just hire an escort/mistress if you don't want anything more than recurring sex?

I tend to rate women with a two dimensional euclidean distance: sqrt(hotness^2 + interestingness^2). A women who is a vapid model with a 10 on hotness scale, but 1 on everything else scores lower than me than a women who may be an "8" on hot, but 9 on other qualities. Looks are still important, but not the only criteria for attractiveness, if you plan to have more than a few nights together.

e.g. I'd take Natalie Portman over Jolie anyday, even though Jolie's way more voluptuous.
 
Agree with DC. Not only that, I've...uh...heard that quite a few very hot women aren't too terribly fun (adventurous, passionate, etc.) once the clothes come off. Narcissism and all.
 
As the old saying goes, fat girls appreciate it more.

Making a living playing games changes your perspective. Just like actually coding/designing them. People who play all games all the time tend to lose what's fun or great about them.


And why the disbelief? I know of many people, half of them female, most of them single, on average about 30 years old, many of them you expect to be successful, popular and married, simply because they ask me to fix their computer.

Because that's what they do mostly, all day, they rarely see other people. The supermarket nearby is the main meeting ground.

The women seem to get more, but short and more miserable relationships than the men. Probably because they simply accept whatever.


They will be a majority in less than a decade, if things go on as they do.

I dated a model once, but I only have one data point. A friend (the one who introduced me to her via a double-date) goes out with models all the time, he worked at Conde Nast publishing and met them very often. It only lasted 1 months because eventually I couldn't stand to be around her. For one, all she was interested in doing was shopping and fashion, and secondly, all she had to talk about was critiquing other women and models. Very judgemental person. She was actually pretty squeamish making out too. On the other hand, I've dated girls who were very prudish on the outside in their dress and demeanor who were incredibly passionate.

But then again, maybe I was the problem. :) My friend tells me a) these models are pretty boring and dumb as nails. and b) many of them prefer sex with women since they spend so much time obsessing over women's looks. He'd told me many stories of "failure" in which he was out with models, only to come back to his place thinking he was going to score and be forced to watch the girls make out.

No, I meant that I don't need a woman as a "friend" only, but it has to be both friendship and the sexual for it to be fulfilling. If she doesn't atract me, what would be the point of hanging around with her? That's what I meant with "I have enough friends for just hanging around with", the woman should be more than just a friend.

Btw. with those "rare jewels" I meant a hot woman who is also the best friend, not "hot women for sex only and otherwise hanging around with friends".

Some, but in my experience the hot ones are indeed the hottest in bed as well.
