Dell selling AMD-based desktops

Appearantly, Dell has decided to drop it's exclusively-Intel deal and offer a few AMD boxes. Can't really blame them, but I still doubt that many Dell-buyers know/care about AMD's performance lead.

Since CPU's haven't been getting any faster lately, perhaps this will lower prices across the board.

If I am not mistaken they sell only processors not desktop.

Dell isn't selling AMD desktops, so the thread title is misleading. That they sell processors only is actually kind of old news...
