    Oh, that lecture is from Andreas Klockner? PyCUDA is absolutely fantastic, and anyone who is looking to prototype a CUDA app should definitely take a look at it.

    Well, there is this app we were trying to write in CUDA and it involved a huge number of FFTs and inverse FFTs. How on earth are you supposed to get that off the ground in PyCUDA?

    And yes, WHY, WHY the hell are cufft and cublas only accessible form the runtime API, and not from driver API.

    This will be fixed (we know it sucks and there's just been annoying wrinkle after annoying wrinkle that has pushed it back).
