    Quoted from Incrysis.com:

Great news from Crytek today! Crytek Community Manager Alexander Marschal sent a word that the Crysis single player demo is only a month away! What an awesome way to start a Monday! Alex also sent a word that the community release of the Nanosuit Trailer is now available as HD and low quality versions.

    The Countdown to Crysis Continues:

    Single Player Demo - 9.25.07

PC gamers now have a reason to mark a big circle around September 25th on their calendars as the single player demo for Crysis will be lighting up rigs worldwide in just 30 days.

Consisting of the entire first level in Crysis’ epic single player campaign, "Contact", gamers will get to finally experience first-hand the stunning visuals, revolutionary Nanosuit gameplay and open-ended level design that make Crysis one of the most anticipated shooters and PC games of all time. The demo is also poised to include a huge surprise from Crytek, but for now you’ll just have to wait and check out the latest Crysis Nanosuit trailer by following the link below.

Great news! Good to see a demo coming out far in advance of the game release. Gives people time to gauge its performance on their systems, and for drivers to be worked on. 2K Games could use a lesson in this regard

At the end of the demo a splash screen proclaims Cryengine2 has been chosen to be used on 3DRealms upcoming first person shooter, Duke Nukem Forever.

    Awsome!

No leave that trophy for KZ2!

I found Far Cry to have excellent gameplay past the story, facts is Ididn't care about the story but about the hunt!

But I guess Crysis is a bad game for you since it is "The way it is meant to be played"!

Its not a fast action FPS so a good story can make the game much better.

Than 90% of the games bad for me?, your guess is wrong, i not care.

If someone followed Crysis from day one see the half game already in pictures or videos, i'm sure its will be the best looking game when its launched, but thats all

So you have played the game, could you tell me more about the story events and bits, where do you meet the aliens, can you get to the top of the mountain? :lol2:

Now unless you have played the game for real then I dont see how you can say it doesn't got any gameplay at all. ;)

I based my quess the fact Crytek last game for me was bored like hell and what i see from Crysis in videos looks like gameplay "inteligance" same as in far cry.

Of course i try the demo when its coming

    Found this: http://www.incrysis.com/wiki/index.php/Crysis_Graphics
Article about different effects in the game etc.

"Subsurface scattering - Light scatters as it passes through translucent objects such as glass, leaves and human flesh."

"Realtime ambient maps - Atmospheric (reflected) lighting is applied to every in-game object"

Didn't BF2 use atmospheric lighting?

Ok ok, so it wasn't anywhere near as advanced. But it does look nice.

That is excellent artwork and design, definitely A+ sci-fi vibes for me.

I also saw the video below of the frozen landsacep and wow, it looks like CGI with the motion-blur and the detail... I almost find it unbelievable (but it was ingame play!).

Im still in shock, never thought the frozen areas to look this good...
