Crimson Fire for PS2. Sony published Criterion game?

I found it on the Edge forums. Supposedly this pic has been posted on the SCEE message boards. There's some very nice, well lit geometry here, as well as water with polygonal ripples and refraction.

That rumor was debunked by Alex Ward on IGN board. They are not making it. This Crimson Fire game, however, I have no idea...

The Editor of Edge has just relayed a message from Criterion to say that this is not a screenshot from any game they have in production.

for a swimming pool this one sure has pretty big waves, suppose an elephant just jumped in ey? otherwise looks damn fine though...

Confirmed fake. The game is called Cartel, and is made for a PC.
