Ok, I know its flippers pixel shading/texturing unit(is vertex shading included?), but what it makes it different/the same from other chips, how does it work? Is it something worth keeping in future hardware?
Maybe this patent can help you to better understand the TEV. Of course it's not really "sexy" to read, and you have to search for useful informations through a lot of stuff (remember it's a patent ) but it's the best I've found when I was looking for more informations on the Flipper.
