Communist Australia wins again

Some Americans would see this as a Communist victory. Fortunately for us, Australians, we see this as a win for the people. If this had happened in the USA it would have made it past congress with very little bribery required.

Thank goodness for a healthy dose of socialism in a democracy.
I don't see how that's communistic in any way, shape, or form. Striking down a monopoly encourages competition, one of the staples of a capitalist society.

The primary problem in the US is that big corporations today have too much power, and thus often find it too easy to get government officials on their side.
 
What are you talking about America doesn't like monopolies either. It goes against a healthy capitalist economy. If you were trying to push forward some agenda you could've chosen a better wagon.
