Before Xbox One launched, MS tried to convince potential Xbox One buyers that the power of cloud based computing could provide the Xbox with up to 100 times the power of a single system.
Here we are, 3 years later, and to my knowledge, not a single game was made in testament to the pre-launch marketing campaign.
I do however, do believe it could be technically possible in a few years.
Will this ever be a thing? I know MS wouldn't use this concept to also market Xbox Two, is there ever is one, because nobody will believe them. So even if they could, they won't develop it.
