Chrome bookmark synching query

Any way I can actually make chrome access my bookmarks I've set up using google toolbar for IE? I activated synching in Chrome, using the same account, but so far it's a no go.

Why the heck do they use different systems to accomplish the same thing for their products? It makes no sense. I could dump IE today for their browser if this shit would just work like it's supposed, but noooo...

Yeah, thanks, but that doesn't actually answer my question... I don't have any IE favorites.

so you want chrome to be able to access your bookmarks from what browser ?

Not from the browser... From Google's own toolbar.

I assumed enabling synching in chrome and entering the same account name and password as I use in the google toolbar would do the trick, but alas. Just wondering if there's a trick to coax it into doing what I want, I have all my bookmarks stored on the google cloud, and I can only access them from IE, not from google's own browser. Makes zero fucking sense...
