Charlton Heston, who appeared in some 100 films in his 60-year acting career but who is remembered chiefly for his monumental, jut-jawed portrayals of Moses, Ben-Hur and Michelangelo, died Saturday night at his home in Beverly Hills, Calif. He was 83.

i recommend anyone wanting to maintain happy memories of charlton (my fond childhood memories of planet of the apes) to stick with the action flicks
+ whatever you do stay clear of the otherwise great film 'touch of evil'

Touch of Evil was great, but Heston was cast very very poorly. It probably would have been ok if he wasn't supposed to be Mexican.
