Why is the hotfix b installer still saying "ATi"? Don't they realize that every time they do something like that they're just twisting the dagger a bit deeper into my heart?

And why is CCC sometimes called Vision Engine? Varies with hardware it seems.

Am I the only one encountering the driver automatically activating demo mode during every startup? I've tried to disable it several times already but then I find it turned on again for each restart.

Is there such a thing as demo mode in the driver? Where to find it?

In other words, no such a problem here.
But in all fairness I had blue screens on my system trying to install Cat. 11.6 forcing me to stay with 11.5b which worked perfectly. After several tries of uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, I reverted to fresh Windows 7 backup image with Cat 11.5b included which fixed my problem.
Turns out my driver files corrupted before updating to 11.6 when I was trying to push my system a bit too much and caused all that drama.

No problem here. Try running CCC as an Admin and see if it saves the settings. That would indicate a permissions problem somewhere.

CCC -> Video -> Video settings -> Video Demo Mode.

It's under the Video Settings. It's one of the last options.
Edit: After some thorough testing, I'd figure it's just UI error. The switch for the Video Demo Mode is switched to "On" but no radios are selected. I played a couple of videos just to make sure there isn't a red line being displayed on the center and it seems disabled.

Still, if anybody has a fix for such a small bug, I'd gladly take it. I've read somewhere you can delete the contents of the C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\ATI\ACE directory and it will rebuild itself and also disable demo mode by default, but I'm too scared to try.

It's only currently enabled on some AMD CPUs and APUs.
