The atoms behave that way because they are designed to be that way by someone. Since this thread is not about religion his name is not relevent. We all agree that knowledge is power. In quantum science nothing can be further from the truth. But since atoms are very small and they are barely alive. If you take information off of it[atom]. It immediately losses a life[power] in that dimesion. Therefore it will behave as predicted like influenced by tendency alone ie gravity or chance. This fact can be scaled up or down. To the the level smaller than an atom or to the most complex as real life form sauch as a person. A very good example is Mosses. When he's with the egyptian royalty he is always observe to do what is zealously expected of him being a member of egyptian royalty. But the time he was free because of cirscumstance beyond his control, he was able to do what he is really expected to do. But of course zealous expectations doesn't happen/occur only in the egyptian court it also happen in the Jewish camp. So what happened is Mosess essentially becomes powerless and they are made to wander the desert in 40 years.

I think detector "corrects" atoms to go parrallel to one of the slit axis (when its "On").
I would love to see how pattern looks like, when detector "aims" in spot where atoms land when it's turned on :)

Either way, what If it's light that pretends to be a particle in this example ?
What if atoms are supposed to create that pattern but because of detector they act like waves ?
Also what happens when atom collides with the wall ?
Can it (or leftovers from it), interfere with where the next atom(s) go ?
