Bugbears The Next Car Game

Bugbear, known from games like Rally Trophy, FlatOut, FlatOut 2 / Ultimate Carnage (NOT FLATOUT 3! That one sucked and was made by someone else ), is making a new driving game.

By the looks of it, it'll be something in the lines of FlatOuts and Destruction Derbys, with extra attention to collision physics etc.

They have kickstarter open for the game, since apparently publishers think there's no market for these games

They also released a prototype of a racing game (not the prototype for their next game) for free to everyone.

The original flatout is one of my favourite racing games. I still enjoy it now. If they can truly capture the car handling of that game and not it's crappy turn on a pivot sequels then I'll be getting it.

Loading up Flatout 2 for the first time remains one of my biggest gaming disappointments.
