Breakdown of how much power each component uses?

Is there a chart or something that shows how much power the typical computer components actually use?

Like as far as cpu, gpu, ram, hard drives, ssd, optical drives, pci cards, usb, network adapters, etc... ?

And primarily I am wondering about hard drives = do SSD's use much less power than typical HDD in real use?

Thanks!

A modern 3.5" HDD uses around 5-9W or so, depending on spindle speed, and how hard it's working. Most of the time it's going to be pretty much idle in a desktop system, server use might be different, depending of course. So, much less than 10% load power overall in a typical gaming rig, unless you have a lot of harddrives installed. A 2.5" drive cuts that by 50% roughly, but is of course much slower. WD Velociraptor drives exempt, of course, due to 10k RPM spindle and high-performance actuator. :)

Also, some SSDs aren't particularly power efficient, this is especially true of sandforce drives.
