It looks like I sent some points to team Thorildsplan(32337) funny but it looks like beerfloat also did so I am catching up and will soon pass beerfloat on (32337) nice!

LOL I'm still ranked 20th even though I probably haven't contributed in.... 4 years?

I was going to start folding again, having moved & changed power company but the latest ATI client uses a bunch of environmental variables that you currently seem to be supposed to experiment with trial & error style to find the optimal settings for the particular work unit.
I can't be bothered with that so I'm waiting on a newer version that is supposed to be on the way which will set these variables automatically.

Where are all the GPU junkies  You need to let your expensive GPU's do some folding work!

I started with a new folding name (griswoold) and already in the top 60 so if don't wanna loose your place keep folding or i will get you sooner or later

Sadly I stopped folding quite a while back now. I have entered myself and my family into an interesting experiment in green living and the house we are moving into is off the grid entirely!

It's all solar and wind powered and so, for the first time ever, we have a fixed energy budget to work within. And that excludes quad core, GPU monsters such as my main machine and PS3's for 24/7 folding.

It's been fun and I have enjoyed battling for the top spot on an off since the team started. Keep up the good work and I may be back in the future!!

I'd love to but apparently radeons are not a priority and so folding isn't a priority for me now.

Perhaps if ATi were to help Pande Group with the OpenCL GPU V3 client as Nvidia is, the results Radeon users desire would be achieved quicker. We all know how ATi dev rel works though. Not to say they don't work, just they don't have the same resources as NV.

Either way I'm not folding untill my cards get proper treatment.

I'm not going to waste power to run something inefficent.

According to Dr. Pande, the OpenCL implementation on ATI is not ready for the OpenMM library that they're using, and Brook+ support won't be forthcoming, so is this really a matter of Radeons not being a priority for FaH, or GPGPU not being a priority for ATI?

like i said it really doesn't matter. Untill performance is right I wont be folding. Its just a waste of power.

Hopefully by the time i buy my next video card its up to snuff.
