So who's going to deliver the hundredth work unit? They should get a prize, like a bar of chocolate or something :p

And Mr Overmyer will soon be leading the top of the board methinks, 6 processors!! God Damn you sir :D

Yeah, but like I've said before... four of them aren't very impressive processors, and the two at home probably won't be running 24/7 for long, methinks. After the novelty wears off I'm sure I'll talk myself out of allowing the home computers to chug all day and night... and after I get the lead, of course!

All for a good cause though, isn't it? :)

Yeah it's all for a good cause, but that doesn't mean we can't have a little friendly rivalry. :)

I will concede the top of the board over my burnt out CPU's and fragged to death hard drives :D

I've got eleven more machines I could get on the case, but they're all tied up running sims at the moment, and some probably will be be until the end of July :( Evolutionary Computation sucks when you want to have fun

I wonder how far I'd get trying to deduct the portion of my electrical bill used in computing time for this project from my taxes and calling it a charitable contribution...

Mr FrodoGrant has joined the team and he doesn't even know what Beyond3D is!! He works in an office downstairs from me. I just gave him the Beyond3D team number :D

And I've just dug through my box of bits and built a Duron 800Mhz machine and OC'd it to 1Ghz. It's now busily chomping away.

Perhaps the multi-box members of the team should consider "helping out" by changing one or more of our boxes to Russ's name for a while.

Everybody's got a price, Russ

Ha. I've even got two machines running. (One only overnight, the other slow as dirt)

w00t! I'm now 13. My 24 hour slow as dirt machine finished a '100' frame WU in 5 days.
