I am making my p733 lappy scream for mercy  The thing freezes up, and randomly shuts off when crunching lol.... It for work... and desperatly underpowered for what I do... I am just assisting its suicide

I think I got my p4 issue worked out I hope... It does some funny things... and I lose my progress...

I am leaving for one week and it is getting into the 40's here in the cali desert. mmm With all this talk of fire hazard... I may shut down my folding operations for a week as well :(...

Certainly not the usual behaviour, I haven't had similar experience with my Linux boxes.

    Congrats for 10K !

Your absence may allow me to reach the no1 spot for one or two days before you pass me.

    Thank you.

Submitted one more unit (which should make me 10200+) and now all are off except this one.

Back to fold with you guys starting from 22/Aug again.

Same here. Don´t understand it though. I thought the number shown in the foldingwindow was the number of frames but accoarding to the projectlist it has only 100 frames...? Seems to crunch at the speed of a normal package though. Don´t think it will take much longer.

I think Dave should do a front page "crunch" week article. Get everyone together and get everyone running their machines as much as possible and see how far we move up, maybe it will inspire some of those ppl who stopped folding after 20 WU to get back in gear.

I think it is crazy enough to work.:D

(I still cant get my linux install to continue after it finshes one..pffft. ah well... thats life.) So when I am gone for a week it can only crunch one measily unit. )
