    Hmmm... wouldn't be better that way?

    Honestly, I can get you - through my options ;) - a dual 2.4 Xeon 1U server w/2GB RAM for less than 2G - and all you have to pay for is the hosting/colocation, which couldn't be more than ~$100-200 anyway w/unlimited transfer.

    I'm serious - did I miss something? :?:

    Not sure what it is like outside the US, but in the US, for a couple Mbit unmetered bandwidth in a colo with several units of rack space, you can end up paying significantly more than 200/mo.

    1. I can give you quotes for webhosting for $99/mo w/ unlimited transfer from nationwide well-known ISP

    2. you need only 1U size, not several units - use built-in mirrors and linux w/ huge ramdsik, that's it
