about time! this game always was fantasy violence, but brilliantly executed. it is forever worth playing, unlike a lot of supposedly more modern shooters.
perhaps the issue is it's so moody, well lighted, good sound and all ; you feel like you're really gunning down the imps, and you are angry when doom guy's face is angry
one nice and guiltless way to vent some stupid anger hanging around.
