I'm not talking about "get an X800 pro" or "6800 GT dude!", I'm talking these damn pink lines coming and going are making my already frayed nerves even frayedier and I gotta just bite the bullet and buy something NOW!

So if anyone knows any links to good deals that can be delivered to the US quickly (I want something that can ship TODAY!) I would be most appreciative.

(Sorry if this tone sounds nasty, it is not intended to...I'm looking for help and I'm just panicking a bit and I really don't mean to cause offense, I think I'm having an anxiety attack and I gotta do something to calm me so I'm going to buy a video card. ;) )

Some help you are, over at EB I already got 14 replies to the exact same post. ;)

    I'm trying to decide if I should go slightly over-budget or get a 6800 vanilla.....and I really don't think I want a vanilla 6800, it just don't seem me.

I don't think your going to be to happy jumping from a 9700pro to a 6800nu. I wasn't to happy using my sisters x800pro after my 9700pro. The x800xt pe was the only thing that could make me happy . So i would say u need a x800pro vivo or a 6800gt

thats not a bad deal. Though after reading rage3d i wouldn't trust compusa to ship when they say they will. So have a back up just in case

I probably will, but I'm just excited to be finally getting a next gen card right now.

My panic is gone, replaced by an overwhelming impatience....

And to top it all off? I just got an e-mail confirming they shipped it out to me UPS 2nd day air, tracking number and all.

I think I am officially impressed.

I owned a 500$ x800 xt pe, and I must say the 6800 GT @ 399 is the best sub 400$ video card. PERIOD.

I disagree. PERIOD haha just joking . 6800gt is a great card if your not into moding or overclocking.

but the x800pro vivo is just as good if not better as they will unlock to full x800xt pe speeds

It came down to driver support & AA for me, and I just don't trust nVidia with either while I happen to have a whole lot of faith right now in ATi.
