Battlefield 4 Global illumination?

    This video starting at 1:44 , lights bounces off the metal of the tank and is cast on the terrain beneath it. is that the result of GI?

    i don't know how you are so sure such phenomena is happening, nor do I think BF4 has any kind of dynamic GI

    That's what I thought .. but then again what could explain such phenomenon?

    Caustics? ... but then again RT physically correct 60FPS Caustics might not be here yet let alone BF4 GI. :p

    It's a artifact becoming visible through the camera pan. Just unstable math.

    Thanks. At first I thought it could be a flashlight on the tank, but such things are not present in the game. Good to know it is only an incorrect math, but sad at the same time. Such an effect would be nice if implemented in a game.
