    Strange !

I have already seen an advertisement for an Athlon 3000+ with an R9600Pro All-in-Wonder for Euro 1199,- last week in an german newpaper. So this computer should be in stores already here.

I found AiW Radeon 9600 Pro being offered at Mwave.com for $228.45!

If you go to the product catalog section at www.Mwave.com, select video cards, and then select "list items from highest price first", you'll find the AiW Radeon 9600 Pro being offered.

www.mwave.com -> now says "Estimate arrival on 10/20/2003"

www.compusmart.com -> says "due to arrive on 09/24/2003"... but they've had the 24th as the arrival date since the end of August.. so I'm not sure if it's a "firm" date or their best guess.... I guess we'll see in 2 days if it's updated to another date?

www.greytech.com -> I emailed them last Monday and the response than was that they were expecting the unit within 2 weeks.

I really think September 30th is still the magic day for everything and you'll be seeing a lot of new stuff in stores after that. ;)

    Grrr

I just got Homeworld2 and it's too much for my poor 7200. Please ship this out soon, I'm getting tired of playing the tutorial over and over! :x

    1. why no DVI-I??

    2. why do they use a propriatary Port for Dual Display?
Why don't they use an LFH-60 Port (yes, i know a LFH-60 Port isn't really good at all, if you change your Graphics Carde often, i know it from my G550 Dual DVI (bulk)) ??

I imagine the lack of DVI-I is due to the extra weight of a DVI->VGA adapter would be too much for that proprietary port, it already has quite of few attachments sticking out of it already. It is also probably due to cost as this is supposed to be a mainstream product so they have to shave a lil, maybe not as much as their value lines. I agree it is a lil dispointing but since I don't have a LCD yet it doesn't bother me.

So has anyone seen this on store shelves or has ordered and gotten one yet? I got Homeworld2 sitting practically unplayed for 2 weeks on my desk!

I got my review board on Tuesday last week, the same day I got home from the hospital. :)

Talk about your "get well cards"....

Schweet little card, it's impressing me. Expect a review in a few days, I'm still taking it sort of slow with everything.

    Got mines at Microcenter

Picked it up yesterday after work. Homeworld2 is now for the most part smooth. Probably because the driver on the CD is outta date (ISP been down over a week but DSL should be here tomorrow :) ) This being my first AIW I hope someone posts a guide to upgrading the various software components to this card.
