Have a look to see if there is an ethernet port on it?
Or look in device manager, as you say, which will show any network connections or in "network connections" provided you have a driver installed.
Actually I think I have one of these (nforce1, onboard video?) and mine certainly does have onboard ethernet, althought there may be a version without.

Ok, I've got the manual for mine and it is a a7n266-vm/se so may be different (although SE is not mentioned in the manual at all only on the cover) but the Ethernet port is right next to the keyboard and mouse ports.
